If I could afford to be a minimalist -I would be one, but for now, this one's for the creative kids.

I honestly don't have much to say.
Well, I actually do, but I just don't feel like typing it all out. But I will tell you this:

This past Saturday I decided to stay in and not go to church because I felt -
tired.
And to think of it, it's quite strange that I felt that way, because I ended up cancelling my Friday night out with Nangi.
I woke up, felt damn unpretty, spoke to God then I felt the need to share what was going on through my "everything" at that moment - visually. I'm surprised that the outcome of this video is not PG18.
Heck, I would've shown the world my vagina.

I just wanted to thank all the youtube peeps, facebook peeps, twitter peeps, tumblr peeps, blogger peeps,  the not-on-a-social-network mense, but mostly you, Reader ! Your support has been incredible. I have not reached my goal(s) for 2013, nonetheless, I'm still motivated to continue. The new year is immensely exciting & I rate I should just claim it.
You should too.
Here's to a blessed 2014 & a million more vlogs to come.

P.S I hope you'll be rocking these dance moves on New Years Eve. I'm convinced I was born to dance.
Awe.

PLEASE WATCH THIS VIDEO WITH EARPHONES ON :D

Dain Sisam, thank you boyfriend.

As a Tony Gum and as a Conformist, a task was set to be fulfilled during the June/July holiday.
The task being 'Encounters'.

en·coun·ter

/enˈkountər/

Noun
An unexpected or casual meeting.

I narrowed it down to music encounters (since it is a personal matter that everyone and anyone can/could relate to)

I conversed with a variety of people that I encountered during my trip to Europe and I must say, engaging with people on a 'musical' basis is an eye-opening experience. It kind of makes the other reveal their vulnerable side (in some circumstances) because music is just that personal; it's a reflection of you, your feelings and so on and so forth AND you, on the other hand, feel humble and drawn in towards the other.
I could be exaggerating.
But that's how I felt.

I did not take many pictures, because taking pictures is a mode of photography for me that it is quite the distraction and I felt as though it would be a distraction on pondering on the essence of being away from home.

S/O to BlaQ Slim. Thank you for allowing me to use your lovely jam, Good Fridae.

Sorry for the wait.
[flip. This vlog is exciting though]

Lilitha and I made popcorn at the Cape Town School of Photography.
Please do excuse the moment where the camera just zooms in on my boob. I was talking to someone. Completely oblivious to the fact that I was recording - eish.

Hey Reader! I really appreciate the time you have taken to take a glimpse at this blog - again.
Design Indaba was quite adequate this year. I know I'm sounding like a parrot repeating myself the whole the time, but I do admire the aesthetic value of design, but I was not spellbound this year - I was not amazed as usual [which is quite weird, yo!]  Nevertheless, South African designers are pure, raw talent. I did have an awesome time with my friends; Day 1 + day 3. They made it worthwhile!

Enkosi!

Ok.

Hey there handsome, let's get to it. I made this DIY just for you. And with time it really does turn out great. So save your money and make your own personalized, kiff beanie - WINNING.
BUT, I'm not telling you to cut up every item of clothing that you don't wear anymore - be reasonable please and do a good deed while you're at it. I hope this vlog is understandable. I was actually amused by my choice of words when I finished making the vlog, giggles . If you like it, let me know. If you end up making your own beanie, please do send me a picture of your beanie!
Take a look at the snapshots below, of the beanie, from the DIY video.
Ok.

My holiday was incredible. I can't recall the places I visited but they were historical and somewhat, sentimental. Everything about the gypsy lifestyle that I lived within this holiday was surprisingly fun. Although it was not my ideal "fashion-blogger-holiday", I still wanted to add a 'touch of my expression' to...(continue)
