Day 3 was great. I spent the day with Michaela (the beautiful lady below). We were assisting in the 'How to' photo shoot by Asanda and it was - let me say - a learning experience. Although I can't recall the rest of the day, that Eat-zza (is that how you spell it?) from Debonairs was yummmy drools.

Anyway baybay - enjoy the pics!

The second day was work day. I stayed in the office all day trying to complete my task but unfortunately my brain wasn’t too keen on doing anything. I felt so drained and I could feel my body sliding off the desk. It was only day two, and the hours had already gotten to me - tough times I tell you. But yeah, I didn't have time to take any pictures at work so I decided to take them after work, while I was waiting for my mother to finish her "paddling session". 

Sadly some of these pics were taken in the car, others,  in the Mr Price changing rooms - I had no option really. I'm sorry for the sucky quality. But who are we fooling? My camera is not much of a rockstar.

But let me tell you, taking these pics was a mission and a half! The things I do for love...

I decided to wear my yellow dress with my yellow stockings, I don’t know why but I felt I should bear a resemblance to the sunshine or the sun really. In colour and in coughs size. It was a good day but I didn’t know how else to feel. 

I was kinda nervous though - like heavy days. The online department is not as easy as it looks. Every detail is crucial. But the highlight of my Tuesday was ‘sourcing’. We drove around town, did a little bit of street style, visited the local clothing stores and the international boutiques and we spotted some beautiful items for the upcoming photo shoots. 

Ahh, yes, it was the best ;)

Ever since I was inspired by Solange Knowles & her epic box braids - I've been in touch with my African side. I am a proud Xhosa girl, but it feels like I have not been in touch with my roots. I have taken some time to show you some references of what I would love to do for my next shoot.
I love Africa, I wish I could see it all before I do this shoot.


 I really do live in a beautiful continent - filled with colour & pride, intriguing cultures & religions.
If I could get the opportunity to travel the world - I would start in Africa.


AND  the fashion here is so inspiring !!!
